High Positioning Accuracy The GT859 supports multiple satellite constellations — BDS, GPS, GLONASS and Galileo — to deliver more accurate and reliable positioning worldwide. By receiving signals from several systems simultaneously, the device improves position stability and resilience against signal obstruction and interference, achieving meter‑level or even sub‑meter‑level accuracy in favorable conditions.
Various Functions GT859 includes practical telematics functions for operational control: mileage statistics derived from positioning data to help calculate transportation costs; a speed sensor (accelerometer) for real‑time speed monitoring and speeding alarms when preset thresholds are exceeded; and configurable geo‑fences that trigger alerts if a device leaves a defined safe zone.
Corner Upload Mechanism In real‑time mode the GT859 uploads location data at a set interval. When the device detects a corner, it automatically increases upload frequency to capture additional position points. This prevents loss of critical turning data caused by infrequent sampling and produces a smoother, more accurate trajectory that better reflects actual driving routes.
